May 15, 2008: The formal ceremony of the Hanif Kalia Road named after Chairman, Ko-Ordination Group – KRG, Mr. Hanif S. Kalia took place on Monday, 12th of May, 2008 by the hands of Mr. Qasim Ali Khan Mohammad Zai, General Secretary of Awami National Party (ANP) for Charsadda District, NWFP.
 

This road, formerly known as Gazi Gul Baba Road, Shaka Corinna is spread over 1 kilometer. Janab Abid Jan, Nazim Union Council MC-3, Charsadda in a joint session of all the councilors of Charsadda held few days ago, unanimously passed a joint resolution to name this road of Charsadda, after the name of Mr. Hanif S. Kalia to recognize his Extra-Ordinary services in Information Technology (IT) and Social Welfare sector of Pakistan.

Leading Social, Educational & Political personalities of the Charsadda District were present at this occasion, they described the services of Hanif S. Kalia in golden words saying that Hanif S. Kalia’s services are worthy of great value and significance to this nation and the country, which he has been offering not only to knowledge seekers but also to people, to whom he finds struggling from life’s hardships.

Mr. Hanif S. Kalia at this occasion thanked all the people and in particular the administration of Charsadda District, while expressing his views, Hanif S. Kalia said that the real reward for me is when I see the sight of hope and relief on the faces of suffering people, after being chosen by Almighty to lend a helping hand to them, He also added that my team has also played a vital role in accomplishing my aims and I would also like to take this moment and thank them too and hope they would continue to assist me in my mission in the future as well and I would carry on to give my best to my homeland and my countrymen.
