The platform of Ko-Ordination Group – KRG is playing an indispensable role in creating an IT Culture in Pakistan, Chief Guest for the event, Mr. Arshad Abdullah Barrister - Minister of Law, Parliamentary Affairs & Human Rights

 

May 15: 2008 - Inauguration Ceremony of BACHA KHAN Computer Learning Centre (BKCLC) Charsadda, NWFP (established & donated by KRG) was held at Centennial Government Model Girls High School, Charsadda NWFP on Monday, May 12, 2008. This centre equipped with latest systems is another episode of KRG’s chapter of imparting quality IT education all across the country specially in those remote areas of Pakistan, which are lacking behind in resources and haven’t been given the due consideration by the authorities in the past.
 

Chief Guest for the event, Mr. Arshad Abdullah Barrister – Provincial Minister of Law, Parliamentary Affairs & Human Rights NWFP, said in his address that Kalia Group is a celebrated name in the world of business in our country, but the services they are rendering under the platform of Ko-Ordination Group – KRG are indescribable in words, he said that he would like to thank personally to Chairman KRG, that he has established 2nd Computer Learning Centre in Charsadda, he said these computer learning centres created by KRG are an asset for the people of Charsadda.

Chairman, KRG, Mr. Hanif S. Kalia in his presiding address said that he is highly pleased from the hospitality shown by the people of Charsadda, he said that in every sector, be it Economics, Agriculture or Industry, Information & Communication Technology (ICT) plays a crucial role in enhancing the effectiveness of these sectors, quoting the example of India, he said the development and growth that India has shown in the recent times is chiefly due to ICT, so we have to struggle hard to promote quality IT education and training in our country in order to compete globally.

Dr. Saira Bano, General Secretary KRG, in her address, highlighted the efforts of KRG and depicted the vision of KRG i.e. Information Technology (IT) is the language of 21st Century and without learning it, no progress and prosperity is now possible, she furthermore stated that after seeing how well our established computer lab at Govt. Boys High School, Charsadda has been managed, Chairman KRG, Mr. Hanif S. Kalia has declared this institute as a Role Model Institute of KRG all over the country, She also said that KRG has always pressed the need of setting up computer centres particularly in remote areas of Pakistan, she also emphasized on the need of Career Guidance and Career Counseling programs, specially for females, she said that KRG is also fulfilling this part of its responsibility actively as well, at end she advised the students present to work harder, to be a role model in themselves in the future.

Ms. Sanjeeda Tareen, Principal, Centennial Government Model Girls High School said that our school is solitary High School in Charsadda, in which more than 1200 girls from the district are enrolled and getting education, she added that the establishment of this computer lab by KRG will go a long way in polishing school’s pupils into IT literate generation and I am exceedingly grateful for Hanif S. Kalia for this.

Mr. Qasim Ali Khan Mohamamad Zai, General Secretary, Awami National Party, MPA PF-17, Mr. Fazal Shakoor Khan, MPA PF-19, Mr. Shakeel Shair Khan, Nazim MC-4, Mr. Alamzeb, Nazim MC-3, Janab Abid Jan, District Education Officer Charsadda, Mr. Sultan Khan, Electronic & Print Media and large number of people from all ends of life were present in this ceremony, at last respectable guests were presented shield by KRG.
