The inauguration ceremony of highly advanced and full furnished Peshawar Computer Learning Centre (PCLC) at Government Girls High School, Bara Line, Peshawar took place on Tuesday, 13th May 2008, This lab, in the heart of Peshawar, established and donated by Ko-ordination Group – KRG was inaugurated by Mr. Syed Aqil Shah, Provincial Minister for Sports, Culture, Tourism, NWFP
 

While Address a large gathering at the lab inaugural session, Chief Guest Mr. Syed Aqil Shah praised Mr. Hanif S. Kalia and his vision and mission of KRG and said that their services are of great treasure and value to this nation and country and specially for NWFP, as this is not the first time when KRG has established a state of the art computer learning center in NWFP, he added further that Information Technology (IT) is now a must learn language to survive and I am glad that people of NWFP are also entering into this global village slowly but gradually through the efforts of Hanif S. Kalia, he thanked again the whole team of KRG and specially Mr. Hanif S. Kalia for his selfless services in IT sector of Pakistan.

Chairman KRG, Hanif S. Kalia said there is no shadow of a doubt on the talent of our country’s youth but all they require is, proper guidance and direction, he also said that IT has been utilize as the ladder of success by our born fellow country India, as this is the only industry that provides the luxury to earn while being at home, he also expressed his concern over the limited education budget and its non utilization, he said that KRG is a self funded NGO, which is sincerely dedicated towards its goal of creating an IT culture in Pakistan through establishing Computer Learning Centres all over the country in order to give Pakistan an IT literate and bright generation and we will continue to carry on our mission with greater zeal and zest in the future days to come.

Speaking at this occasion, General Secretary, KRG, Dr. Saira Bano said KRG target those areas in particular to establish its computer labs, which either lack resources or haven’t been given due consideration by the authorities and the established of PCLC is another step ahead towards the same direction, and we are keen to spread the net of computer centers from Karachi to Peshawar.

The ceremony concluded with shield distribution to Chief Guest from KRG.
