May 07, 2008: It gives me enormous pleasure and honour to be a part of that vision on which Hanif S. Kalia and KRG are endeavoring in order to promote an IT culture in Pakistan, which is the key of success being the language of 21st century, Chief Guest, Mr. Mohammad Raza Haroon, Minister For Information Technology (IT) Government of Sindh, said during his speech at the inauguration ceremony of Deaf Computer Learning Centre – DCLC, at Pakistan Association of the Deaf (PAD), Shaheen Tower, Shahra-e-Faisal, Karachi on Wednesday, 7th May 2008, established & donated by Ko-Ordination Group-KRG on special recommendations of Ms. Huma Bukhari, District Governor, 305 S-1 Lions Club International, who was also the Presiding Guest of the event.

Kalia. He concluded his speech by saying that being the IT minister, I would try to follow the commendable work that Hanif S. Kalia is doing for IT sector and keeping in view the importance of IT, efforts are made to computerized the schools, hospitals and police departments as well to enhance their efficiency.

Presiding Guest, Ms. Huma Bukhari, District Governor, 305 S-1 Lions Club International said that God has created innumerable blessings for us in this world, and countless blessings are still uncovered, because HE wanted to test the creativity of human’s mind and I am very much grateful to KRG for acting upon my request and donating a state of the art computer learning centre for these pearls, She said that to talk about Hanif S. Kalia is a very difficult task because this man has so many achievements to his credit, that one doesn’t know on which quality of him he or she should speak, but his contributions for IT sector in Pakistan are unrivaled and to name Road and Park in Lahore, another 5-Corrina Road in Charsadda and Conference Hall in Hyderabad speaks for Hanif S. Kalia’s outstanding services in IT sector.

Earlier, Mr. Hanif S. Kalia, Chairman – KRG, while delivering his speech told the audience that KRG sensed “an IT era” 10 years ago and took the initiative of spreading computer learning centres across Pakistan and today by the grace of God our established and donated centres are spread all over the country imparting quality IT education and training and our intentions of spreading this net of computer centres in every nock and corner of our country is getting still firm as ever, even after so many centres establishment, because we want that our youth can exploit full advantage of IT, so that they can contribute towards economic stability of our country in a more proficient way.
