July 14, 2008: To recognize the record breaking performance of Bantva Adam Computer Institute (BACI) & Bantva Memon Jamat Institute of Computer Sciences (BMJICS) on their recent record breaking performance since the administrative and management takeover of
Ko-Ordination Group – KRG, a grand “KRGians Certificates of Excellence” Distribution Ceremony was held at Hoor Bai Hajiyani Hall on Saturday, 12th of July, 2008.

Chief Guest, Ms. Tauqeer Fatima Bhutto, Provincial Minister For Women Development, Government of Sindh, on this occasion, said she is extremely glad to know the activities of KRG in the country and the endeavors that they are undertaking to promote Information Technology (IT) education and training. She also admired the services of Hanif S. Kalia and called it a war against illiteracy and very crucial for the development of the country, while on point of education, she expressed that there is no second opinion on the thought that without education and IT education in particular, the dreams of prosperity and progress are ineffective and that is why the efforts of Hanif S. Kalia & KRG are so critical and helpful for government and exemplarily for other NGOs as well.
Chairman, KRG, Hanif S. Kalia thanked all the dignitaries for their presence and Chief Guest in particular and congratulated all the certificates and prize recipients. He said ICT has now become a world wide phenomenon and not only prosperity and progress but life as well can’t be imagine without it. He said we should all put together our efforts in spreading ICT education and training to craft the young talent and future of Pakistan and KRG is committed in its aim to broaden the network of its activities in ICT through different parts of the country. Quoting the recent exhibition for the empowerment of women in Pakistan by KRG and KRG computer learning centre in Sui, Baluchistan, the Chairman said that women consist major part of our population so it is important that their problems and hurdles should be addressed properly, particularly in giving them excess to education and ICT training.
Al-Haaj M. Siddique Polani, Renowned Social Figure & Member KalPoint Personality of the Week Forum, who was presiding this gala ceremony said KRG knows how to deliver quality ICT education & training and the same is displayed in both the institutes which is summarized today in this event and he hopes and prays for KRG’s success for this noble path of serving the humanity in the coming days as well.
Earlier, in her welcome speech, Dr. Saira Bano, General Secretary - KRG
depicted the activities of KRG in detail in
promoting the IT Culture in Pakistan. She also described the
theme behind recently held “Be Pakistani Buy Pakistan” cultural festival
at The Arts Council of Pakistan – Karachi & Expo Centre - Karachi, which
was targeted to empower the women of our country and to be the role
model NGO in this regard. She said after establishing and setting up
computer literacy centres, KRG showers more
importance on its smooth and effective running, to ensure more youth are
benefited through these endeavors.
Guest of Honour, Mr. Jaffer Kudia, President – Bantva Memon Jamat &
Member KalPoint Personality of the Week Forum also praised the growth of
both these institutes and credited KRG & Hanif S.
Kalia for this achievement. He said that both these institutes provide a
great opportunity to the youth of nation and community to get themselves
acquainted with this language of 21st century.
Abdul Majeed Abdani, Renown Educationalist and Member KalPoint
Personality of the Week Forum said that in this era of terrorism,
inflation and economic crisis, the efforts of KRG
under Hanif S. Kalia & Dr. Saira Bano are more critical, because
education is a field, where any compromise can lead to unproductive
results, he called Dr. Saira Bano a role model lady for other working
women in the society. Another Guest of Honour, Mr. Khalid Latif
Sabunwala, said that such wonderful ceremony and to witness such talent
is really admirable and I extend my heartiest congratulation to
organizers, institute management teachers, students and to Hanif S.
Kalia and his crew for their vigorous contributions in various
educational and social fields.
Various programs and performances such as IT quiz program, drama, poems
and national song were also presented in the program by KRGians,
proving that there are second to none in academic and extra curricular
activities as well. The ceremony concluded with vote of thanks by Senior
Joint Secretary – KRG, Mr. Shabbir Hussain Qureshi
and presentation of mementos to Chief Guest, Presiding Guest & Guests of
Honours, while the dignitaries then handed over the certificates among
administrators, outstanding performers and various instructors of both
these institutes.
